Vacant Office Spaces Pile Up in Houston

Companies look to unload workspaces with local economy hit by drop in oil prices

In 2014, when Houston was swelling with growth from the energy sector, French oil-field services company Technip SA expanded its presence in the city with a lease for four floors in an under-construction office building in Houston’s so-called Energy Corridor.
Now the company wants out and is trying to sublease its space, adding to the market...
