2m00s: flew to Geneva to meet with head of WTO. “Mr Palast we don’t
have evil cabal’s of bankers determining policy..” memo shown to him…
visible change in WTO head’s attitude..
3m30s: Joe Stiglitz said he would sit in cabinet meetings with
Summers. Summers would turn to Rubin and say –”what would Goldman think
about this” — Stiglitz said “Why should we care what Goldman said” —
result: Stiglitz dumped, Summers became economics Tzar, and Fed chair
candidate..
Often they would not take a chance, but would call Goldman and ask! (Talk about inside information!)

Did summers quit the race for Fed chair becuse of this video? I think it’s likely.
