Government Will Hype Fall Swine Flu Outbreak To Save Obamacare, Warns Armey

Former House leader says government is preparing to exploit fear to reinvigorate support behind failing agenda

Government Will Hype Fall Swine Flu Outbreak To Save Obamacare, Warns Armey 170809top

Former Congressman and House Majority Leader Dick Armey warns that the government is planning to exploit a hyped swine flu outbreak this fall in order to reinvigorate support behind its failing Obamacare agenda.

Armey is confident that the grass roots backlash against Obamacare will cause the plan to fail, but warns that the government has one last trick up its sleeve which it is preparing to pull in the next few months.

The former House leader told the Financial Times that wavering lawmakers in both parties might be won over by an engineered crisis that the Obama administration is planning to exploit.

“In September or October there will be a hyped up outbreak of the swine flu which they’ll say is as bad as the bubonic plague to scare the bed-wetters to vote for healthcare reform,” said Mr Armey. “That is the only way they can push something on to the American people that the American people don’t want.”

As we reported last week, Georgia Congressman Paul Broun gave a similar warning when he told attendees of a town hall event Tuesday that the Obama administration was planning to use a pandemic or a natural disaster to implement martial law in the United States.

Speaking at the North Georgia Technical College auditorium, Broun said that the “socialistic elite,” as well as Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, were planning to exploit a crisis to create a favorable climate for their stalling political agenda.

“They’re trying to develop an environment where they can take over,” he said. “We’ve seen that historically.”

Health authorities as well as Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano have been hyping the inevitability of swine flu’s deadlier return this fall ever since it first appeared in April.

Despite the fact that the virus has proven far less potent than the common flu, governments across the world have been preparing to roll out mass vaccination campaigns which are set to begin next month, despite the fact that the shots will contain mercury and squalene and have also been linked with the killer nerve disease Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

National Guard units have been training to deal with riots and unrest in relation to the imminent vaccination program, using schools as staging areas for drills that are focused around subduing unruly citizens.

US Stocks Drop Sharply, Tracking Overseas Losses

U.S. stocks dropped Monday, tracking steep losses overseas amid a backdrop of economic worries.

Shortly after the opening bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was lower by about 190 points. The S&P 500 was down 2.2%, led by drops of more than 4% in its basic-materials sector and sharp drops in other categories including energy, financials, industrial and consumer-discretionary stocks. The Nasdaq Composite Index sank 2.3%.

Lower commodity prices, persistent worries over tightening in bank loans and weak economic data damped investor sentiment, leading to a sharp decline in overseas stock markets.

China's Shanghai Composite Index posted its biggest percentage decline since November, falling 5.8% to end below 3,000 since June. Metals stocks were hit hardest, with Angang Steel and Yunnan Copper dropping by the 10% limit in Shenzhen, while Aluminum Corp. of China and Jiangxi Copper dropped by as much in Shanghai.

Japan's Nikkei Stock Average fell 3.1%. Data showing Japan's second-quarter gross domestic product registered its first quarterly growth in five quarters did little for the Tokyo markets. GDP grew 0.9% from the previous quarter, short of the 1% rise expected in a Dow Jones Newswires poll of economists.

The selloff rippled into Europe, were major stock benchmarks were weaker in recent activity. The U.K.'s FTSE 100 and Germany's DAX index were down by about 1.5%.

The September Nymex crude-oil futures contract was down $1.46 at $66.05 a barrel. On Friday, Nymex crude shed $3.10 to $67.51 a barrel, breaking out of the $68-$70 range it's held since the start of August as stock markets wilted.

Stocks snapped a four-week winning streak Friday after a worse-than-expected consumer-sentiment reading. More disappointing reports on the consumer were out Monday after home-improvement retailer Lowe's reported a 19% decline in second-quarter earnings, missing Wall Street expectations. Its shares sank more than 9%.

Home Depot, a Lowe's rival and component of the Dow industrials, declined by more than 5%. It reports earnings later this week.

"The consumer confidence and retail issues are huge in the U.S. and markets are very worried about it," said David Buik, senior partner at BCG Partners in London.

Data on other areas of the economy showed some improvement. The New York Federal Reserve said its Empire State index of manufacturing conditions rose to 12.08 in August from -0.55 in July. The August reading was the report's highest level since November 2007.

Treasury prices rose as investors sought safe havens. The benchmark 10-year note rose 16/32 to yield 3.51%. Yields move inversely to prices. Three-month dollar Libor moved up to 0.43125% from Friday's 0.42938%, its first move up in 16 days. The three-month rate peaked at 4.81875% on Oct. 10.

The dollar was weaker against the yen and stronger against the euro.

City Government Closed For Business Today

CHICAGO (CNS) --- If you planned to check out a library book, visit a city clinic or have your garbage picked up on Monday, you're out of luck.

The City of Chicago is basically closed for business on Aug. 17, a reduced-service day in which most city employees are off without pay. City Hall, public libraries, health clinics and most city offices will be closed.

Emergency service providers including police, firefighters and paramedics are working at full strength, but most services not directly related to public safety, including street sweeping, will not be provided.

That also includes garbage pickup. Residents who receive regular collection on Mondays should expect trash to be picked up on Tuesday. Some other customers may experience a one-day delay as collectors catch up.

As part of the 2009 budget, three reduced-service days were planned for 2009, days which are unpaid for all affected employees -- the Friday after Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve; and New Year's Eve. The City Council recently approved moving the reduced-service day planned for New Year's Eve to Monday.

The 2009 budget anticipates saving $8.3 million due to the reduced-service days.

In addition to reduced service days, all non-union employees were asked to take a series of furlough days and unpaid holidays, and most non-sworn union employees agreed to similar unpaid time off.

"Every dollar we save from these measures helps to save jobs, and in the long-term, maintain services for Chicagoans," Mayor Richard M. Daley said in a news release. "This plan relies on most of our civilian employees to be part of the solution to our very serious budget challenges. I want to thank them again for their sacrifice."

Over the weekend, there was a sign on the door of a city clinic in Englewood telling patients all Chicago health offices will be closed Monday.

A lot of residents CBS 2 interviewed this weekend didn't know about the partial government shutdown. It came as bad news to Denzel Thornton, a student at Chicago State who visited the library Sunday to find out it aws to be closed Monday.

"Where am I supposed to go now?" he asked. "I have no other place to go. I don't have a computer of my own, so this is the only public place I can go to do what I need."

But for city workers like Marx Daniels, the day off is a mixed blessing.

"I never took a day off, and I've never been late, so now the reduced days seem pretty good, you know," he said.

On Monday, the boots, shovels and jacket he uses while excavating and cleaning city sewers were sitting at home. But Daniels said Sunday he was happy to trade a day off here and there if it means keeping his job.

"At first … I didn't think that I could live with it, and then when I found out the alternative was being laid off, I thought it was a good thing," Daniels said.

Daniels will lose a little over $200 dollars for each reduced services day. And he says that can add up.

"With me having two kids in college, that one day makes a difference," he said.

Tsunami alert as quake rattles Taiwan

A strong earthquake has rattled much of Taiwan, prompting a tsunami warning from neighboring Japan.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage and the tsunami warning was later lifted.

The epicenter of the quake, which struck at 8.05am (12.05NZT), was about 188km southeast of Hualien on Taiwan's east coast at a depth of 11km, the island's Central Weather Bureau said in a statement.

The US Geological Survey put the magnitude at 6.7 after a first estimation of 6.9. It was felt as a magnitude two or three around much of the island.

Earthquakes occur frequently in Taiwan, which lies to the southeast of China on a seismically active stretch of the Pacific basin.

Taiwan is still recovering from a typhoon that struck on August 8, causing widespread mudslides and flooding. President Ma Ying-jeou has estimated the eventual death toll from the storm at more than 500.

One of Taiwan's worst-recorded quakes occurred in September 1999. Measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale, it killed more than 2400 people and destroyed or damaged 50,000 buildings.

Strong quakes rattle East Asia

A strong earthquake has jolted the ocean floor off southern Japan, triggering a brief tsunami warning south-west of Ishigaki-jima island.

The 6.7-magnitude quake also shook buildings in Taiwan when it hit at around 0906 (0006 GMT) at a depth of 10 km (six miles).

The US Geological Survey also recorded a 7.0-magnitude quake in Indonesia's West Sumatra on Sunday.

There were no immediate reports of casualties from either of the quakes.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck central Japan last Tuesday, killing one woman and injuring more than 120 people.

The Indonesian quake prompted no tsunami warning when it struck near the Mentawai islands off Sumatra at a depth of 32 km (20 miles).

Seven people in the West Sumatra capital of Padang were injured in the quake, which was followed by at least three aftershocks.

57 Trillion Reasons To Murder 100 Million

The U.S. debt of $57 trillion in unfunded liabilities, according to common sense, is compelling reason for federal governors conspiring with special interests to murder 100 million Americans this fall using poisonous vaccinations.

According to federal deficit calculators at, more than $57 trillion is currently owed, including $39 trillion(T) in medicaid/medicare debt, $10T in social security payables, plus $8T in prescription drug liabilities, levying$189,210.00 in servitude upon every American citizen.

The mafia kills people for a lot less. Do you really think your debt collection is proceeding differently?

Consider current White House science czar John Holdren’s published affection for population reduction, nuclear industry promotion, biological weapons distribution, and vaccination sterilization through intoxication advancing under the guises of “national security,” “biopreparedness,” “flu prevention, and “health care reform.”

The fact is, you are worth more dead than alive to Obama’s ilk, because in reality, there is a WARRANT FOR YOUR DEATH THAT CARRIES A REWARD OF $189K, and rising.

Now you would never believe this is true. But do your “homework” and learn the FACTS:

1) Washington, DC is a “district,” not a “state” in the Republic. Legally, it is an offshore or “foreign” corporation.

2) U.S. Federal employees, including Capitol Hill legislators, are legally contracted to perform on behalf of the “foreign corporation.”

3) The “foreign corporation” in now unable to pay its debts.

4) The “foreign corporation” is now calling in its notes.

5) Under Uniform Commercial Code (UCC–global economic administrative banking and accounting law) a liquidity account called a “bond” was created for you at birth.

6) This “bond” secures every American citizen with a birth certificate and social security number against debtor obligations administered through the IRS and Justice Department.

7) Your “bond,” (private trust-like account created when your birth certificate was filed with the state, then sent to the federal corporation) is worth millions of dollars based on expert legal testimonies and insurance industry actuarial projections of your net worth–gross personal production– from birth to grave.

8) Considering your gross personal productivity over your lifetime carries this economic value, you might call this your “gross personal product.”

9) The “foreign corporation” assays America’s “gross national product,” and your “gross personal product” as well.

10) Assets of the “foreign corporation” may be liquidated to pay debts; and you may be liquidated, likewise, for available currency in your “transaction account,” to pay the corporation’s debts through the international bank-serving IRS “balance sheet” provisions that have been secreted from the public, but heralded legally by expert witnesses in tax courts.

The aforementioned FACTS EVIDENCE . . .

So you probably never realized you are worth more dead to our current “legal guardians” than alive. This best explains why:

1) Throughout history, global economic collapses have fueled major wars.

2) Hideously harmful, scientifically proven killers are often certified for use by the FDA and “fast-tracked” to markets,

3) The FDA incessantly advances Big Pharma’s Codex Alimentarius plot to terminate over-the-counter access to vitamins, minerals, herbs, homeo-pathics, the healing natural sweetener stevia and energizing ginseng, but grants deadly addictive aspartame, even caffeine, free distribution everywhere.

4) Safe methods of water decontamination, such as inexpensive ultraviolet light and ozonation, or even nano-silver disinfection, is grossly excluded from municipal water purification methods in favor of totally toxic carcinogenic chlorine.

5) Fluoride, a mind-numbing bone-mottling intoxicant, is forced upon nearly everyone as a replacement for education and motivation for dental caries prevention.

6) Mercury in vaccines and dental fillings is still approved after extensive research proving toxicity and substantial morbidity and mortality linked to the heavy metal poison.

7) John Holdren became Obama administration “science czar” given his voracious appetite for population reduction through intoxication of water and food supplies, and the previously conducted mass vaccination causing sterilization as endorsed in his book Ecoscience.

8) US officials plan to administer 3 toxic immune system destroying squalene injections this fall under the guise of swine flu “biodefense,” despite substantial scientific evidence proving this is a deadly immune-intoxicating substance.

9) CDC and NIAID officials lie about HIV/AIDS, in many different ways, quashing safe and effective low-to-no-cost treatments while partnering with private companies advancing profitable drug sales.

10) The new additional federal $1 billion contract for swine flu vaccines include Baxter corporation’s provisions despite the company’s history of genocidal operations. Federal officials were well aware the company spread HIV/AIDS in contaminated blood products AND spread H5N1 allegedly “accidentally” in time for this “biodefense” season.

11) Hillary Rodham Clinton, Obama’s Secretary of State, overseeing CIA, FBI and Foreign Policy, was politically positioned to dictate “health care reform,” “national security,” and “national health insurance policy,”

12) Mrs. Clinton went to Mexico precisely when the mysterious Mexican swine flu outbreak occurred to persuade government officials there to stop supporting drug traffickers whose WAR killed more than 7,000 people the previous 12 months. This just proves the “WAR on Drugs” is a profitable security investment for Big Pharma, political liars, and inside traitors(Ref); and why . . .

13) Every one of the deadliest pandemics throughout history has come when severe socioeconomic/political upheaval occurred.

Suffice it to say, knowing all of the above, you would have to be a complete idiot to accept flu vaccinations this fall, or any intoxication through “immunization” ever again.

Stunning new image of Mars show half-mile wide crater complete with sand dunes

It is one of the most dramatic images to ever emerge from Mars.

In fact, this extraordinary photograph is so clear that even the sand dunes at the base of the half-mile wide canyon are visible.

Experts even believe that they can see the tracks of a Mars lander on the left-hand corner of the Victoria Crater.

Its peaceful history was only broken when a Nasa rover landed in 2006 and explored the area until August last year, leaving behind its trademark tracks.

The space organisation's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter beaned down this stunning shot of the 800-metre-wide crater.

The High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera, which took the camera, has been a useful aide in Mars exploration.

Its images helped the Mars Opportunity rover navigate around the edge of the crater, and even take cover when winds kicked up a dust-storm in 2007.

Although the image looks like a 'top-down' shot, it was actually taken at an angle more akin to a passenger looking out of a plane window, allowing NASA to see more of the steep walls of the crater.

Another image from the HiRISE captures a 'dust devil' leaving a trail and casting a shadow.
