On a global basis, U.S. companies are responsible for 80% of all arms sales.
Fear is good business, especially for international arms dealers.
According to a recent Congressional Research Service report, within the
last year the U.S. has tripled weapons sales to $66.3 billion, more
than half of which went to allied Gulf states.
