With the U.S. expected to hit the $16.4 trillion debt ceiling by the end of February, there is more debt ceiling shenanigans in Washington. Obama wants to raise the debt ceiling, but opposed raising it in 2006. Most Republicans oppose raising the debt ceiling, but were all for it during the George W. Bush administration. It's all a show.
