Admit It:The World Has Gone Mad

This post is nothing more than a rant based on rampant braincells doing u-turns and back-flips in the back of my head, struggling to make sense of events which transpired before, after and during the election of President Barack “Mr.Change” Obama.

How far have we managed to come as a nation since the election of Barack Obama and where does it look like we are headed? Has justice been served and are we now traveling down a new and practical road towards constitutional freedom?
No,we are not.

The helpless body of mankind has only been roped with an even stronger saddle, branded on the backside of the truth, and we are being ridden towards undefined wars and illegitimate policies contracted by selfish governing bodies.
We’ve stopped asking questions due to our own shamefaced cowardice and the blatant amount of apathy which makes up the face of our nations and states is sickening.

Spare me the excuses you may have; my intellect cannot take one more painful shard of subterfuge scratching itself against the chalkboard, nor can I manage to nod in understanding as some of you defy reason in order to make a case for your nation and its misdeeds.

Something has to change but it is not just our leadership,it is us.

Each of my spinning braincells, slamming into one another, has a topic to bring to my attention and each one just as important as the other:
1.Afghanistan:
The United States and NATO have positioned themselves in this country in such a way that it looks like this war will be this generations Vietnam – The war could extend more than 500,00 more American troops into the territory while nothing lawfully contend that we have the right to occupy their land.

2.Iraq: Manipulated civil wars between Sunni & Shi’a (who used to marry from one another before the neocolonialist move into their country by the Western regimes),Theft of oil not belonging to any Western nation,Murder,Rape and complicity to evil that extends beyond Guantanamo Bay,the current administration backing the extension of spying via the Patriot Act.

3.Palestine: The unwavering support of Israel while the Zionist regime amplifies illegal settlements, controls the movement of Palestinian people via Nazi-like barriers and physical methods of entrapment, devastating massacres which put many other colonialist regimes to shame, and laws that define who may be considered a citizen based on the race and ideology of an individual.

4.Iran: Placing unwarranted pressure on a sovereign nation (i.e Nuclear Sanctions) while refusing to publicly acknowledge that Israel has not signed the NPT and hold over 100 Nuclear weapons, disregarding mindblowing evidence which contends that Iran is following IAEA rules in terms of nuclear energy, inducing public hysteria during a free election and walking out on President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s speech at the Un General Assembly while at the same time making a speech wherein Obama stated that:”We live in a great country where people are free to express opinions”.

-I cannot begin to fathom how we can know that there is a dying Palestinian who is suffering because of our adminitstration yet feign ignorance and do nothing to speak out against it.
I cannot understand how we can know that our government is now extending the blemished hand of colonialism into Somalia and Pakistan while leaving its stamp on Afghanistan and Iraq.
-I do not understand how we can deflower nations made up of human beings who have the same running blood we do and sit around the table of corrupt political gluttony every day.
I do not understand how we can call ourselves just yet apply the most inhumane sanctions, laws and measures against people we do not even know.

-Do any of you know how many Iraqi mothers still clutch the pictures of their children to their womb, screaming out their names at night only to remember they were killed by “our” troops?
Can any of you imagine waking up to starvation and your homeland being torn asunder by missionaries for “peace” and “democracy”?

Feel their pain in your hearts, try to connect to them and see what they see us as.
Our government has stolen our good name and used it to persecute millions of defenseless people who will be left with nothing but shattered hopes and dreams once the Western occupation regimes finally do leave their nations: poor, empty and drained.

Justice,my friends, goes two ways and nothing should ever be preferred over it – not matter what the consequence.

The nationalist members of our society have poisoned the well of justice for far too long and all of these occupations must stop, now.

If we want to be the shining beacon of hope and integrity then we must first have the courage to create change before change creates us.
