When you're Cool the Sun is Always Shining.

Dog Poet Transmitting…….

Someone once asked me why I was wearing my sunglasses at night. I said, “When you’re cool, the sun is always shining”.

The weird is starting folks. I apologize for linking to one of the media organs of the master race but the presentation of the article paints a picture that should be serious evidence to anyone paying attention, which means very few of us. Apparently the radio interview went pretty well and as usual it happened on one of those days following three or four nights with no sleep. I’m surprised I didn’t sound as loony as I felt (grin).

The New Shangri-la is pushing up on 700 members. Good grief, there are 30 new members since I checked this morning! We’ll have a thousand members pretty soon at this rate and that means the community is seriously forming in the ethers and about to come down into a location. I’ve opened my house (a very small house) in Italy to all intrepid souls who want to become involved in this. We might as well start with a place I already have and if you build something you are there. My suggestion is tree houses in the olive trees. I have 86 of them, I think. You bolt it together and it is considered ‘temporary’ and so no permissions are required. There’s no rent and the utilities are easier the more people there are sharing them. I’ve got most of what anyone might need including fast wireless internet. I don’t have a sauna but someone will build one (grin).

As you have noticed I have engaged some of you in negative (but with positive intention) meditation on BP, Monsanto and much earlier, Zionism. This was done with a certain calculation for the future, just as setting up the New Shangri-La with the help of Phil R. and Nina and somebody else (forgive me for forgetting) and then leaving it there for a year. It wasn’t time but it needed to be up. I suppose some people were not entirely happy with my absence and the absence of everyone else (grin). Sturm is champing at the bit but he’s going to be satisfied soon, I promise.

I seldom forget what I have been a part of initiating. It’s just that my sense of time operates according to a personal mystery; as mysterious to me as it probably is to you. I have long been intending a proper demonstration of what is possible for all of us but one needs to be in the Tao of their Nature to have Nature accommodate you. You can push the river but that is ultimately counterproductive. Someone said recently that the evidence of my posting so often was a sign that the end is near. Sure it is, so is the beginning.

Anyway, The New Shangri-La starts in Italy this fall and whatever seasons follow. What will happen is that the money will show up once we’ve gotten going and passed a few tests of faith. These tests will be pro forma because the river is on our side and so is the rest of Nature and nothing would please our lady more than to see us coming together in the way she most approves of. We will purchase, possibly ten hectares in Italy near my place and that can be had for as little as 15,000 to 50,000 Euros, depending on what we want. This will be an ancillary location that will be run from the primary location that is my house or, our house actually.

My personal intention is not even the community itself but a demonstration of what is possible for all of us, which I already said but want to say again. I’m putting my reputation on the line here, even though I have no idea what my reputation is. I want to prove something to you so that you can have the evidence necessary to apply the same principles to your own life.

The first thing I would like to ask those readers, who are interested in a community, that involves common meals together and kick ass work and recreational periods that can be outstanding, when you’ve got a group of people working together for a common end is to believe The New Shangri-La already exists.

Let’s compare the enjoyment feature to sex with yourself and sex with another person (grin). Somehow the latter is always more satisfying because there’s someone else involved. Given that people take me literally, as in the recent spate of people contacting me with surprise that I was communicating with Saddam Hussein and translating his poetry (big grin) and missing the fact that it was satire, let me emphatically state that I am not putting together or working with others to put together some kind of free love experiment, except insofar as we all want to share our love, because that is the purpose of love and how we got here to begin with …but does not require the horizontal hula as an imprimatur of our love. Love is, for me, the act of setting others free from one’s own personal desires. Love is, in my understanding, the power that compels us to sacrifice what we think we want in order for another to receive what everyone wants.

So, please assume that The New Shangri-La exists and you can go there any time you want and, in fact, you can. Some of you cannot come to Italy so that is why it is necessary to demonstrate what I am certain will occur, so that you can do it in your neighborhood. Please make it clear to your mind that we already have this and we’ll talk about what to do in your neck of the woods, once the proof is hard-wired into Gaia’s’ loving embrace.

The other thing I am going to personally guarantee is a beautiful spot on the Bodensee with Hobie Cats and canoes for those ‘sailing on moonlight bay’ moments; even if you are using paddles. I’m going to make it a two year window, though I expect it to be fully operational earlier than that.

Some of you have money and resources. Some of you have talents and some of you have willing industry and the power of your dreams. Everyone brings what they’ve got and… except for the actual purchase of the locations, anyone can back out with no loss, one way or another.

I’ve long had an idea for a place called The Tofu Factory. It’s a food production operation with an attached restaurant and it’s also a teaching environment. We’d be turning tofu into all the meat substitutes, spreads, dressings and you name it, which would be sold in stores and supermarkets, with a deli case on site and all kinds of experiments served up for the willing eaters. There are all sorts of possibilities. We will have a house band that does gigs wherever. We will have a teaching hall where all sorts of things can be learned. I might teach Shiatsu. Someone else might teach whatever they know. There will be publishing and various cottage industries. We’ll do well. When the right people pool their resources, they can do nearly anything; “where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them”. No religions; I’m talking about a principle of the universe, expressed in scripture.

These things will happen, are happening and have always been possible. Once you see it manifest you are going to say, “Well, this could work for anything.” The most important and dynamic source of power is not to be doing it for yourself. You get taken care of in ways beyond what you may have originally wanted and in ways you weren’t even aware of when your focus is on assisting others.

Okay, The New Shangri-La is a reality. You can go there now. You can drive down there with me if you show up (one person only) around the time I am leaving which is toward the end of the first week of October. The cardinal rule to remember is to ‘give way’. You can defeat any argument or opposition by giving way. That may make no sense but believe me it works. We’ll be sipping a Campari on my deck before you know it or… some other comestible. Gardeners can garden. Builder can build and dreamers can dream so long as they act on them.

Those of you who can’t make it to this portion of our program; already in progress (grin) can look around where they are and think about where they want it to happen too. The time is here and the sun is rising and shining upon our efforts in a way that is not common. Lord Surya is a friend of mine. I was in a difficult state this morning, so I went to him and had a chat. He said, “All you have to do is think about me and it will all happen effortlessly. I got into the car for a long drive to pick up Susanne at the airport and while I was driving I was talking to Lord Surya. During the conversation he suddenly filled my world with light and then laughed. Since then I’ve been up and down the street singing and not sotto voce, nor sub rosa either and people have been smiling at me as if it were the proper thing to do. Let’s see, I was singing, “Rock Steady” by Bad Company and Freddie Mercury’s, “I want it All”. It’s been great fun.

This isn’t about me. It’s about you and it’s about time. Let each of us, in our own way, investigate what we want and make the clear and irrefutable assumption that it is already ours. The future is now.

End Transmission……. (and check the oil too)

Illegal Alien Child Molester Awarded $4.5 Million in California!

California is so broke it is being compared to Greece. But the Orange County Board of Supervisors gave away 4.3 million real dollars to an illegal Mexican alien who is also a child molester. Why did the supervisors do it? Answer: “The lawyer made me do it!”
The first chapter in this distasteful story begins with Fernando Ramirez, a 24-year-old illegal alien, being caught molesting a 6-year-old girl in a park. He was duly convicted and sent to the Orange County Central Jail. The second chapter is predictable.
Inmates in prison for murder, bank robbery, mugging old ladies, and other assorted thuggery agree on at least one thing: They hate child molesters. So when Mr. Ramirez was finally incarcerated, his life insurance company should have been quick to cancel his policy. That the California court allowed Fernando to plead guilty to ‘battery against a child,’ instead of putting him on trial for child molestation, did not impress his fellow inmates. They beat him to within the proverbial inch of his life.
In the third chapter a California lawyer takes over. Attorney Mark Eisenberg is not an ambulance chaser. Let’s face it, that’s a tacky vocation that is not really cost-effective. Instead, lawyer Eisenberg seems to have discovered that being a noble defender of downtrodden child molesters is just the ticket. By some means, Mr. Eisenberg was mysteriously advised about Fernando being roughly used by the other gents in the Orange County lockup. If he did have an informant somewhere in the county system, no doubt Eisenberg would have simply thanked him, and assured him that his reward could only be in heaven. Then Eisenberg swung into righteous action.
Bringing a case before the Orange County Board of Supervisors, the kindly attorney claimed that Ramirez had suffered brain damage because of the beating, that he needs help walking, and that he now has the intellect of a four-year-old child. Luckily, that age was two years less than the six-year-old child he had molested, so the supervisors must have been very saddened by his alleged condition.
In the fourth chapter, the supervisors take stock of the dire financial straits of Orange County. They then conclude that county taxpayers can still find it in their hearts to hand the child molester and his lawyer the largest settlement ever given to anyone in county custody: $3.75 million, plus $900,000 for medical expenses. With a wave of their wands, Orange County Supervisors made Fernando one of the richest non-citizens in the country!
You might ask questions about that award, but you will get no answers. The case was heard behind closed doors, and the supervisors have absolutely and wisely refused to make any comment on the matter since Joshua Jamison broke the story in The Raw Deal blog. It was later picked up by American Thinker.com on July 11th.
We should remember that lawyers who do not chase ambulances, like Mark Eisenberg, do their work for free. Just like we see advertized on television. What we do not see on television is that lawyers like Eisenberg work on a “contingency fee” basis. That means that if they take your case (and they will not take it unless they reckon they will win) they will take a share in the winnings. Usually, that is at least 30 percent. In this case, that means lawyer Eisenberg took home over $1 million of Orange County taxpayer money. Not bad for a quick closed-door decision by the supervisors.
The final question is: Did the board of supervisors also let millionaire Fernando out of the hoosegow? They must have. It is the only way he could spend his new-found wealth and be the financial stimulus Orange County needs so badly.

The festivities were a welcome change for a country that most recently has seen car bombs, the assassination of a gubernatorial candidate, and the massacre of 72 migrants who refused to smuggle drugs for a brutal gang

President Felipe Caldero, pictured with his family, capped the evening by ringing the original independence bell from a balcony in the Zocalo square and delivering "El Grito," patterned on founding father Miguel Hidalgo's 1810 call to arms against Spain: "Long live independence. Long live the bicentennial ... Long live Mexico!"

In cities where drug violence is heaviest, festivities were more subdued. The grito was cancelled in Ciudad Juarez for the first time in its history. People still showed their patriotism in the border city — Mexico's most violent — by hanging Mexican flags from their roofs and hosting family dinners.

One in seven Americans live in poverty

The ranks of the working-age poor in the United States have climbed to the highest level since the 1960s after the recession forced millions of people out of work and left one in seven Americans living in poverty.

The report covers 2009 President Barack Obama's first year in office

The overall poverty rate climbed to 14.3 per cent, or 43.6 million people, the Census Bureau said in its annual report on the economic well-being of US households. The report covers 2009, President Barack Obama's first year in office.

The poverty rate climbed from 13.2 per cent, or 39.8 million people, in 2008.

The share of Americans without health coverage rose from 15.4 per cent to 16.7 per cent - or 50.7 million people - mostly because of the loss of employer-provided health insurance during the recession. Congress passed a health overhaul law this year to address rising numbers of the uninsured, but the main provisions will not take effect until 2014.

The new figures come at a politically sensitive time, just weeks before the Nov. 2 congressional elections, when voters restive about high unemployment and the slow pace of economic improvement will decide whether to keep Democrats in power or turn to Republicans.

The 14.3 per cent poverty rate, which covers all ages, was the highest since 1994. Still, it was lower than estimates of many demographers who were bracing for a record gain based on last year's skyrocketing unemployment. Many had predicted a range of 14.7 per cent to 15 per cent.

Analysts credited in part increases in government pension plan payments in 2009 as well as federal expansions of unemployment insurance, which rose substantially in 2009 under the economic stimulus program. With the additional unemployment benefits, workers were eligible for extensions that gave them up to 99 weeks of payments after a layoff.

"Given all the unemployment we saw, it's the government safety net that's keeping people above the poverty line," said Douglas Besharov, a University of Maryland public policy professor and former scholar at the conservative American Enterprise Institute.

Record low temp tied

It was so cold at the Santa Monica Pier Monday that the temperature tied a record low of 55 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

The old record was set in 1949.

Record low temperatures for the day were tied at other coastal locations in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties.

The temperature hit a low of 66 in Newport Beach, which tied a record set in 1934. At Oceanside Harbor, the temperature was also 66, tying a record set in 1953, according to the weather service.

Temperatures across the Los Angeles region will continue to remain below normal for much of the week as an onshore flow pushes coastal low clouds and fog inland, the weather service reported.

Acid attack victim who gained world's sympathy after horrific attack admits her injuries were 'self-inflicted'

  • Motive behind Bethany Storro's bizarre plan is still a mystery
  • How - and where - she inflicted injuries remain unclear
  • Police: 'She's very remorseful... This got bigger than she expected'
  • Still not clear if she will be criminally charged

The woman who gained sympathy around the world after a stranger threw acid in her face has made a shocking confession: she made the whole thing up.

Bethany Storro, 28, confessed to police yesterday, saying the severe burns she suffered in the horrific 'attack' were actually 'self-inflicted'.

Police said they did not know the motive behind her bizarre plan.

Her confession - which is set to cause outrage around the world - came after police, suspicious at the holes in her story, turned up the pressure by searching her house.

It is not clear if she will be criminally charged. ‘It’s obvious to everybody here that she’s got a fragile mental state,’ said Commander Marla Schuman, who led the investigation to find the bogus attacker.

‘She is extremely upset and remorseful. This got much bigger than she expected.

He added that the investigation had wasted hundreds of hours of police time.

Storro had claimed a black woman in her late twenties came up to her as she walked into a Starbucks coffee shop and hurled the acid in her face after saying: ‘Hey pretty girl, do you want to drink this?’

She suffered severe burns, her eyesight saved only by a pair of sunglasses she had allegedly bought earlier that day.

But after she held a press conference about her horrific experience, doubts began to emerge about her story.

A reporter for the Vancouver Voice visited a park where Storro claims she was attacked and talked to a number of homeless people who had witness the incident.

They claimed she was 'clearly alone when she dropped to the ground screaming.'

There were also questions about how Storro - who has been almost deaf since having spinal meningitis as a child - could have heard what her assailant said.

The internet was soon rife with rumours that the attack was a hoax.

Then Storro pulled out of an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show, claiming the interview 'was going to possibly turn into another direction, so my family and I decided not to go on.'

Police began to find holes in Miss Storro’s story soon after she posed with bandages covering her head.

There was no question that she had been badly burned by strong caustic acid, possibly hydrochloric or sulphuric acid.

But doctors suggested the splash pattern of the acid wounds looked like liquid had been poured or rubbed on the skin, rather than thrown.

And hard as they tried, police could not find any witnesses to back up Miss Storro’s version of events.

Vancouver police chief Clifford Cook said Storro was still being interviewed by detectives.

The police chief said that 'during the course of the investigation, several discrepancies began to emerge regarding the alleged attack.'

That led police to search her home earlier Thursday and question her again

'During the interview, Ms Storro admitted the injuries were self-inflicted,' Cook said.

Funds were set up for Storro at Umpquah and Riverview Community banks. The banks have not yet commented on the latest revelations.

Vancouver police Commander Marla Schuman said detectives were working on a way to return any money donated to Storro.

Schuman said the alleged attack and the probe stretched the resources of Vancouver's small police department.

Discrepancies: Vancouver Police Chief Clifford Cook said Storro was still being interviewed

'It's been hundreds of hours,' Schuman said about the time invested in the investigation.

'It really took a toll on the department and the resources that we have.'

Cook said any decision to charge Storro with a crime would be left to the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

'She is extremely upset,' Schuman said. 'In many ways, this got bigger than she expected.'

Schuman was asked whether Storro will face a charge of filing a false police report, to which she responded: 'At this point, yes, that would certainly fit.'

Storro's parents, Joseph and Nancy Neuwelt, have not yet commented on the latest revelation about their daughter.

The couple has called the alleged attack 'an act of evil,' but said the family would persevere.

A burn surgeon who operated on Storro said the substance thrown on her face was an acid as strong as hydrochloric or sulfuric acid.

Storro held a press conference as she recovered in the burns unit at a hospital in Portland, Oregon, earlier this month.

She was hailed as 'brave' as, heavily bandaged after her operation, and flanked by her mother and father, she said: 'It was the most painful thing ever.

'My heart stopped. It ripped through my clothing the instant it touched my shirt; I could feel it burning through my second layer of skin.'

Her mother said had Storro not been wearing the sunglasses - which her daughter claimed she had bought just an hour earlier, despite never wearing sunglasses - may have saved her eyesight.

She referred to it as 'the hand of God protecting her eyes - she would have been blind'.

At the press conference, Storro insisted that she would not let the attack wreck her life, and even joked about the possibility of losing her sight.

She revealed that she had spinal meningitis twice as a child, which robbed her of most of her hearing, and said, 'Oh my gosh, to be hard of hearing and blind? That would drive them nuts', referring to her parents.

She added: 'They have to be in the same room for me to hear them. I'm just so glad it's a miracle.'

Starbucks: The scene of the 'attack' in Vancouver, Washington. No witness was found to corroborate Storro's story

And, in quotes now revealed to be fabrication, she said of her 'attacker': 'I have never, ever seen this girl in my entire life. When I first saw her, she had this weirdness about her - like jealousy, rage.

'Was it a dare, or did the woman wake up Monday morning and tell herself that today, she was going to "carry some acid in a cup and throw it on the first person I see?".'

Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said that doctors and authorities are trying to determine what kind of substance caused Storro's facial burns.

Dr Nick Eshraghi said Storro suffered second-degree burns and perhaps deeper burns. He added that his goal during the surgery was to remove as much damaged skin as possible.

At the time of the press conference, Mr Neuwelt said the family hoped the attacker was quickly found.

'You can imagine how I feel,' he said. 'This is my little girl. We're going to get through this we're not going to allow this to stop our lives. We're going to get through it.

Miss Storro had only recently moved back to her home town after splitting up with her husband.

Just days before she admitted lying, her former mother-in-law, Pamela Storro, called claims that she made up the story ‘insane.’

‘There is no way she would ever do anything like this,’ she said, adding that the idea that she fabricated the incident was ‘as hideous as the crime itself.’

We Are Living Through an Exceptional Moment in Human History.

By Fidel Castro Ruz

September 15, 2010
"Information Clearing House" -- "Cuba Debate" -- Sep 10, 2010 -- The deadlines established by the United Nations Security Council for Iran to yield to the demands imposed by the United States regarding nuclear research and uranium enrichment for medical purposes and to generate electricity will be expiring in these days.

This is the only nuclear use that has been documented in Iran.

The fear that Iran is looking forward to producing nuclear weapons is only based on an assumption.

With regard to this delicate issue, the United States and its western allies, among them two of the five nuclear powers with veto power -France and the United Kingdom- supported by the richest and most developed capitalist powers of the world, have promoted an increasing number of sanctions against Iran, a rich, oil-producing Muslim country. Today, the measures adopted include the inspection of Iran’s merchant vessels and severe economic sanctions aimed at suffocating its economy.

I have been following very closely the grave dangers that may result from that situation, because if a war breaks out in that region, it could very quickly go nuclear, and this will have lethal consequences for the rest of the planet.

In referring to such danger I was not looking for publicity or sensationalism. I just wanted to warn the world public opinion hoping that, being advised of such grave danger it could contribute to avoid it.

At least we have managed to draw attention to a problem that was hardly mentioned by the big world media.

This has made me use part of the time scheduled for the launching of this book, on which we worked diligently. I did not want this to coincide with the dates of September 7 and 9. September 7 marks the end of the 90 days term established by the Security Council to know whether Iran complied or not with the requirement of authorizing the inspection of its merchant vessels. September 9 marks the expiration of the three months term fixed by the Resolution adopted on June 9. Quite possibly the establishment of this last term was what the Security Council intended to do originally.

So far we have only had the weird statement made by the Director General of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), the Japanese Yukiya Amano, a man who serves the interests of the Yankees. He added all the fuel to the flames and then, like Pontius Pilate, he washed his hands of the issue.

A spokesperson from the Foreign Ministry of Iran commented his statements with a well earned contempt. According to a news report published by EFE, Amano’s assertion that “‘our friends should not worry, because we don’t believe our region is in the position to engage in new military adventures’ and that ‘Iran was fully prepared to respond to any military invasion’ was an obvious reference to the Cuban leader Fidel Castro, ‘who warned about a possible Israeli nuclear attack against Iran with the support of the United States’”.

News on this topic are pouring and get mixed with others of remarkable repercussion.

The journalist Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic magazine, already known by our people, has been publishing some excerpts of the long interview he made me. He has been discussing some interesting aspects of it before he finally writes a future and long article.

“There were many odd things about my recent Havana stopover, [...]“, he wrote, but one of the most unusual was Fidel Castro’s level of self-reflection [...] but it seemed truly striking that Castro was willing to admit that he misplayed his hand at a crucial moment in the Cuban Missile Crisis [...] that he regrets asking Khrushchev to nuke the U.S.” It is true that he addressed the topic and he asked me that question. Literally, as he wrote in the first part of his report, his words were the following: “I asked him: At a certain point it seemed logical for you to recommend that the Soviets bomb the U.S. Does what you recommended still seem logical now?” He answered: “After I’ve seen what I’ve seen, and knowing what I know now, it wasn’t worth it all.”

I had thoroughly explained to him -and there is written evidence of that- the content of that message: “…if the United States invades Cuba, a country with Russian nuclear weapons, under such circumstances Russia should not allow to be dealt the first strike, as the one dealt against the USSR on June 22, 1941, when the German army and all European forces attacked the USSR.”

As can be observed from that brief reference to the issue, from the second part of his report to the audience on that news, readers could not realize that “if the United States invaded Cuba, a country with Russian nuclear weapons”, under such circumstances, my recommendation was to prevent the enemy from launching the first strike; nor the profound irony embedded in my response - “…and knowing what I know now…”, which was an obvious reference to the betrayal by one Russian President who saturated himself with some ethylic substance and revealed to the United States the most important military secrets of that country.

Further on Goldberg wrote about another moment of our conversation: “I asked him if he believed the Cuban model was still something worth exporting.” Obviously, that question implicitly suggested the theory that Cuba exported the Revolution. So I responded: “The Cuban model doesn’t even work for us anymore”. I said this to him without any bitterness or concern. And now I laugh at the way he literally interpreted what I said and how, according to him, he consulted it with Julia Sweig, a CFR analyst who accompanied him and worked out the theory he described. But the truth is that the meaning of my response was exactly the opposite of the interpretation made by both American journalists of the Cuban model.

My idea, as everybody knows, is that the capitalist system does not work anymore either for the United States or the world, which jumps from one crisis into the next, and these are ever more serious, global and frequent and there is no way the world could escape from them. How could such a system work for a socialist country like Cuba?

Many Arab friends worried when they knew I had met with Goldberg, and sent some messages describing him as “the staunchest advocate of Zionism.”

From all of these we can infer the big confusion that exists in the world. Therefore I hope that what I am telling you about my thoughts could be useful.

The ideas I expressed are contained in 333 Reflections -see what a coincidence. The last 26 refer exclusively to the problems affecting the environment and the imminent danger of a nuclear war.

And now I should very briefly add something.

I have always condemned the Holocaust. I my Reflections entitled “Obama’s Speech in Cairo”, “A Swipe Waiting to Happen”, and “The Opinion of an Expert” I expressed this very clearly.

I have never been an enemy of the Jewish people, which I admire for having resisted dispersion and persecution during two thousand years. Many of the most brilliant talents, such as Karl Marx and Albert Einstein, were Jews, because that was a nation where the most intelligent managed to survive by virtue of a natural law. In our country and in the whole world they were persecuted and slandered. But this is just pat of the ideas I defend.

They were not the only one who were persecuted and slandered for their beliefs. Muslims were attacked and persecuted for their beliefs by the European Christians for much more than 12 centuries, just as the first Christians were in ancient Rome before Christianity became an official religion of that empire. History should be accepted and remembered just the way it happened, with all its tragic realities and its fierce wars. I have spoken about that and that is why I have all the more reason to explain the dangers jeopardizing humankind today, when wars have become the biggest suicide risk for our fragile species.

If we add to this a war against Iran, even if it were of a conventional nature, the United States would rather turn off the light and say goodbye. How could the US put up with a war against 1.5 million Muslims?

For any true revolutionary, defending peace does not mean to renounce to the principles of justice, without which human life and society would be meaningless.

I still believe that Goldberg is an excellent journalist who is able to set out, in an enjoyable way and masterly way, his views, which promotes debate. He does not invent phrases; he transfers them and interprets them.

I will not refer to the content of many others aspects of our conversation. I will respect the secrecy of the issues we discussed and I eagerly await his future long article.

The current news that have started to pour from all sources make me to complement his presentation with these words whose essence is contained in the book “La contraofensiva estratégica” (The Strategic Counteroffensive), which I have just presented.

I believe that all peoples have the right to peace and enjoy all the goods and natural resources of the planet. What is currently going on with peoples in many countries of Africa, where there are millions of emaciated children, women and men out of lack of food, water and medicines is a shame. We feel astonished by the images we see from the Middle East, where Palestinians are deprived from their lands, their homes are demolished by gigantic equipment, and men, women and children are bombed with white phosphorus and other extermination means; the Dantesque scenes of families exterminated by the bombs dropped over Afghan and Pakistani towns by drones; the Iraqis who are dying after years of war; and the more than one million lives lost in that conflict imposed by a US President.

The last we could expect to see were the news about the expulsion of the French gypsies, who are victims of a new sort of racial Holocaust. The strong protest by the French is only logical. At the same time, the millionaires restrict French citizens’ rights to retirement while reducing the possibilities to get a job.

From the US we have heard the news of a pastor in Florida that intends to burn the Holy Book of the Quran in its own church. Even the Yankee and military chiefs engaged in punitive war missions were disturbed by the news which they believed would put their soldiers in jeopardy.

Walter Martínez, the prestigious journalist who conducts the Venezuelan TV program Dossier, was amazed at such madness.

Yesterday, Thursday 9th in the evening, some news asserted that the pastor had relinquished his idea. It might be necessary to know what the FBI agents who visited him told him to “persuade him”. That was a colossal media show, a chaos. Those are things proper of an empire that is sinking.

I thank all of you for your attention.
