Israel is demanding the immediate release of Jonathan Pollard. Pollard, sentenced to life in prison for spying against the United States is a hero in Israel. Jonathan Pollard, an American of Jewish ancestry and Zionist extremist views who publicly acclaims that he tried to destroy America to help maintain the "racial purity of Israel." Pollard may have been spying for Israel but all the information he stole, a truckload of America's most vital secrets, all went to the Soviet Union.

Why did Israel send this information to Russia, the names of all American intelligence assets behind the Iron Curtain, the exact locations of all NATO nuclear weapons facilities, missile silos and detail on how to defeat America's defenses from nuclear attack? America doesn't openly admit it, but this is exactly what was done, and done with one purpose, a surgical strike on America, starting and ending World War III in hours.

This is the current deal Israel is offering this time; If America releases Pollard, Israel agrees to suspend its 62 year ethnic cleansing program against Palestinian Muslims and Christians, for a short time at least.

The American public has never been told the truth about Pollard. Current figures of deaths directly attributed to Pollard's spying are at between 110 and 120 American CIA agents and up to 1600 top American intelligence assets that were foreign nationals. Minimally, Pollard should have faced 110 murder counts for American victims alone. He should have been tried and executed many years ago except for intercession by the government of Israel. Since Pollards sentencing in 1987, they have continually demanded his release.

Pollard wasn't a spy, he was a terrorist.

Pollard had only one purpose, not to spy for Israel but to enable the Soviet Union to launch a successful nuclear "first strike" on America. Pollard didn't act alone but had a series of handlers in Tel Aviv and Moscow,

For some reason, the State of Israel has never been called to account for its full complicity in Pollards crimes. Dozens of Israeli military and intelligence officials were fully complicit in along with Pollard and should have been extradited to the United States and tried for their crimes. Additionally, why isn't it a crime for an Israeli to spy on the United States on behalf of the Soviet Union? If Israel and the United States are allies, then spying on the United States for Russia should have been a crime in Israel also.

Instead, Pollard and his accomplices in Israel are treated as national heroes and the American government has remained silent. Moreover, the American press, even when reporting Israel's current demand for Pollard's release, fails to outline the most basic facts of the case and, in particular, the most glaring inconsistencies.

WHEN AMERICA ALMOST DIED

Though the facts behind the Pollard disaster have never been made public, members of America's military, intelligence and national security organizations knew, they had to, it was their job to try to defend a country left vulnerable to attack. Stories of DEFCON alerts tied to Pollard, are spoken of quietly, hushed voices, among retirees, pilots from the Strategic Air Command, NORAD personnel and other top military commands, both American and NATO partners.

Pollard dangled victory in front of a Soviet regime that was the most radical and thoughtless in their history, at a time when the signs of the collapse were becoming clear.

ISRAEL'S SIDE OF THE STORY

This is the rationale Israel gives for asking for Pollard's release:

The Reagan Administration was withholding critical intelligence on potential terrorist attacks on Israel. (Editor's note: Coincidentally, after Israel's withholding information that would have prevented the attack on the Beirut Marine Barracks in 1983, killing 241 Americans including 220 Marines.)

President Reagan's betrayal of Israel and the support for terrorists shown by people on his National Security Council, including advisers who were supplying Iran with advanced weapons including the Hawk anti-aircraft system and 1500 advanced TOW anti-tank missiles. (Iran Contra)

Key Reagan officials were actively building Iraq as an American surrogate power in the Middle East, offsetting Israel's role as sole nuclear power in the region.

(Unstated but clearly implied) The Soviet Union had, by 1982 become a more reliable partner for Israel and was likely to come out the winner in the Cold War. (Editor's note: Worst guess of all time)

WOLF BLITZER AND POLLARD

Wolf Blitzer, then of the Jerusalem Post, interviewed Pollard in his jail cell and wrote an article calling Pollard "Israel's Master Spy." Blitzer tried to paint Pollard as victim of an American witch hunt, the victim of an anti-Semitic FBI. The Washington Post published the Blitzer account and American media pulled in behind this false cover story painting Pollard as a victim.

Blitzer used his support of Pollard to vault himself to the top of Americas most respected media, the voice of CNN.

What is not reported is that Blitzer was only able to "spin" Pollard as aiding Israel because the damage done to the United States was so severe that it was and is classified. Polland and Blitzer talked about stealing intel on the PLO and Libya, information long shared with Israel but nothing about NATO order of battle or war plans against a Soviet ground offensive against Western Europe, the real heart of Pollards efforts.

The deal cut Pollard, leaving him alive, is the equivalent of giving a drunk driver who plows through a sidewalk filled with kindergartners a ticket for a broken tail light.

WHERE IS AMERICA'S PRESS?

The Pollard story should be a hot one. We have CIA agents rounded up, tortured for months, their networks turned, hundreds head for the gulag, more get a bullet in the back of the head. America is left blind and defenseless during the most brutal period of the Cold War, a period when the Soviets had a real superiority in missiles and the ability to hit any target with pinpoint accuracy, something continually misreported by America.

The nuclear Armageddon prayed for by Christian Zionists would have been a reality, for America at least. Russia would have survived relatively unscathed except for the radiation clouds from North America and Western Europe. This is the real story of Pollard, one totally blacked out in the press. Why is no one asking about this?

WIKIPEDIA ON POLLARD

Admiral Shapiro, who was himself Jewish, stated that he was troubled by the support of Jewish organizations for Pollard: "We work so hard to establish ourselves and to get where we are, and to have somebody screw it up… and then to have Jewish organizations line up behind this guy and try to make him out a hero of the Jewish people, it bothers the hell out of me".

Eric Margolis alleges that Pollard's spying may have led to the capture and execution of CIA spies in the Eastern Bloc after Israel sold or bartered Pollard's information to the Soviet Union. According to one theory , Israeli businessman and convicted Soviet spy Shabattai Kalmanovich may have been made a scapegoat for information from Pollard that had been willingly shared by Israel with the Soviets in order to secure the release of certain Jewish scientists in the USSR.

Ron Olive, retired Naval Criminal Investigative Service, led the Pollard investigation and in 2006 published the book Capturing Jonathan Pollard – How One of the Most Notorious Spies in American History Was Brought to Justice. In his book, Olive writes that Pollard was not serving Israel solely, and that Pollard confessed to passing secrets to South Africa and to his financial advisers, shopping his access to Pakistan and recruiting others for money.

EQUAL JUSTICE FOR ALL WITH SOME EXCEPTIONS

A few weeks ago, a serial killer was arrested in Atlanta, boarding a plane for Israel. For decades Israel was a "get out of jail free card" for anyone, with extradition totally impossible, no matter how serious the crime.

If an African American kills a police officer in any state, he will be executed. Are we saying that, if for instance, the murderer is of Jewish heritage and he kills a CIA officer, even a hundred CIA officers, he can reasonably expect to spent his reflective years in a beach front condo in Israel? Do the families of the dead have to see his beaming face on Israeli television or read his commentaries in the Jerusalem Post?

Well, this is exactly what Israel is asking for and are holding the lives of thousands of Palestinians hostage as a bargaining chip.

This sounds to me like the actions of a terrorist state.

Devastatingly state of the art. Virtually everything that we knew/know about nukes.

Combine it with what Walker gave, along with what the couple working at Los Alamos TRIED to give away to"Venezuela" (and some say that they had already offered it/sold it to Russia & China), and it's fairly evident that our enemies know pretty much everything we know. I was told at one time that the amount of money spent by Russia and China combined, on obtaining our technology by espionage, was absolutely minute in consideration of what the costs to them would have been if they had to use their own technology, and therefore it was given the highest priority.

They placed virtually no limits on what they would pay for critical design info, and yet, amazingly, they usually got it at bargain basement prices. In the case of the Rosenberg's- for free. Same for Pollard and I believe Ames. I doubt if we'll ever truly know what nuke info Walker and his son passed on to Russia, but it was sold incredibly cheap.

A few thousand dollars for the entire Polaris-sub codes being used in the Pacific, for instance. Much less for entire copies of nuke IPB's and weapon assemby summaries.
To the point tho- Walker will never be released I've been told, and I believe it. He pissed off the wrong people with his arrogance. But Pollard? Probably. G-d damn the people that allow the castration of this country.

How we can take stolen profits back from banksters

All of our money comes from debt to private banks -- banks that try to make it look like governments are at fault for their countries falling so heavily into debt. The truth is that banks take the profits that could have been used to better maintain the society if only the people's money was issued by governments through state-owned banks, as was the case, for a time, in both Australia and the US.

What private banks have set up is actually the world's largest pyramid scheme, in which new people must always be going into debt in order that others obtain the currency they need to function within the economy. Within such a system, total indebtedness must continue to increase in order to provide the money that people need in an ever more productive society.

Solution to this problem

We need a grass-roots money-reform movement to take banking away from private interests and put it back in the hands of government -- initially at the state level and eventually at the federal level too. Indeed, North Dakota has very profitably run a state-owned bank for nearly a century, and not coincidentally is the only state in the union that has survived the recent recession unscathed, with the lowest unemployment rate in the country. And now there are five other states that are in the process of passing legislation that will pave the way for state-owned and state-managed banks. Quite naturally, however, banksters are spending big bucks to try and stop this movement -- they don't want to lose all those billions of dollars of easy profits that would suddenly be transferred over to the citizenry as a whole, were it no longer siphoned off by banksters.

During the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln had his government issue a new currency called Greenbacks, but after he was assassinated the banksters saw to it that this practice, so very costly to them, was stopped.

Sometime later, farmers and factory workers banded together and formed a movement of monetary reform. Thousands joined it and in 1894 they marched from Ohio to Washington, D.C., to popularize their cause and to petition Congress to go back to Lincoln's greenback system of federally issued currency, which they thought should replace the private bank-issued currency to which the country had regrettably returned after Lincoln's tragic death.

This struggle, between whether the private banks would continue to issue all money, or whether the government would once again take over this responsibility (thereby greatly increasing the money supply while also capturing all the profits to be made from interest on bank loans), was a major issue of the day and was even represented in a fable originating at that time -- the Wizard of Oz, in which the Tin Man represented the factory workers of the country, and the Scarecrow represented the farmers. And so it was that in the fable the two of them marched off together to the capitol to seek redress for their grievances from a little man -- the wizard -- who operated behind a curtain, twisting knobs on secret machines that almost no one understood or even knew existed -- a metaphor for the mysteries of fractional reserve banking and the various scams and pyramid schemes that bankers have long used to separate the rest of us from huge sums of our hard-earned money. (And then they have the gall to claim that it's the government's fault for being so heavily in debt -- when, if the government were the one to issue our currency, it could never be in debt.

Governments have the sovereign right to issue currency, but the world's bankers have for so long paid for and manipulated the members of government, that few governments ever do issue their own currency. And if they do, they are often not allowed to do so for very long. So why does the citizenry tolerate this? It's because the banksters have done such a superb job of conning them into believing that it would be wildly inflationary for governments to issue the currency society needs.

In reality, the banksters simply don't want to lose the extraordinary profits that follow from their ability to create money themselves, simply by providing loans by writing a certain amount of credit into the account of whatever company or government they are dealing with. Banks never loan out their own cash or even the cash of their depositors; all they do is write a certain amount of credit into the account of anyone taking out a loan. And when that company or government somehow acquires the money with which to pay them back (with interest of course), the bank is that much richer with the new money that has been magically created out of indebtedness.

Note: The actual cash is printed up as required by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. If a bank's demand for cash rises, they go the Fed and ask for more of these paper notes (cash), and the amount is deducted from the bank's "cash reserves." All banks are required to carry a certain minimum amount of "cash" on their books -- called reserves -- to meet demand from depositors who want to withdraw funds. Those withdrawals can be paid with a check, electronic transfer or with paper currency. And when banks have more paper money than they need, they send it back to the Fed. That amount is then added to the banks' "cash reserves." (In effect, the pieces of paper are replaced with electronic bits in the bank's computer system.) The Fed also controls the size of the nation's money supply.

Hence the web of (bank-generated) debt that binds us all, from which some people (the banksters and those whose political campaigns they fund) say there is no escape.

Last January, when Obama sided with Paul Volcker's plan re-impose the Glass-Steagall Act, which would have led to a kind of breaking up of the big banks -- they would have had to separate their investment/gambling operations from their traditional banking operations -- the stock market began to fall apart, almost as if it had been prompted to do so by powerful actors operating behind the scenes who wanted to send a message to Obama and the nation: "Don't bring back Glass Steagall, or else!"

Also consider the day of May 6^th, earlier this year, when the audit-the-Fed bill got the guts cut out of it. What might have prompted Congress to lose its nerve? Answer: There was a sudden, thousand-point drop in the Dow, which no one could explain, which once again begs this question: Are there persons unknown, operating behind the scenes, who can cause such things to happen when they want to deliver a message regarding pending legislation that might 'rob' the rich of the proceeds from their favorite scams? Then too, also on that day, there was the proposed Brown-Kaufmann Amendment that would have broken up our nation's six largest banks. It was rescinded after the mysterious thousand-point drop. Coincidence? Perhaps not. Perhaps a message was being delivered: "Don't mess with us; this is what we can do to you."

Do we finally have legislation in place that will prevent another economic meltdown?

FBI Made Up 'Threats' At Peace Rally, Lied To Congress, To Justify Spying Activity

Thought the days of the FBI considering any group with an agenda that disagreed with the federal government a threat to be "infiltrated" were over? Apparently not. It's been well-established that the FBI used a ridiculously broad net in figuring out who to investigate after September 11th, targeting all sorts of groups that were clearly not terrorist fronts, including a peace rally in Pittsburgh. When the news of that came out a few years back, it got a lot of attention. The ACLU filed a Freedom of Information Act to find out the details of what the FBI was doing at such rallies, and apparently a new report by the Inspector General suggests the FBI put a lot more effort into the coverup than it did in figuring out who they should actually be watching (found via Todd McDermid):

As the inspector general put it, the FBI's elaborate, "after-the-fact reconstruction" of the Pittsburgh events, designed to fabricate a counter-terrorism rationale for the rookie's surveillance mission, "was not corroborated by any witnesses or contemporaneous documents."

Basically, the FBI put a lot of effort into faking a terrorist threat at this event that would require having an FBI agent sent there. They even created a fake paper trail, and all this resulted in FBI director Robert Mueller giving "inaccurate and misleading" testimony to Congress. Of course, this isn't new. We seem to see this all the time from the Justice Department. So why is it that we keep allowing less and less oversight over the Justice Department, when they seem to just abuse their position more and more?

Blackwater Paid Me to Buy Steroids and Weapons on Black Market for its Shooters

A Texas businessman who has worked extensively in Iraq claims that Blackwater paid him to purchase steroids and other drugs for its operatives in Baghdad, as well as more than 100 AK47s and massive amounts of ammunition on Baghdad's black market. Howard Lowry, who worked in Iraq from 2003-2009, also claims that he personally attended Blackwater parties where company personnel had large amounts of cocaine and blocks of hashish and would run around naked. At some of these parties, Lowry alleges, Blackwater operatives would randomly fire automatic weapons from their balconies into buildings full of Iraqi civilians. Lowry described the events as a "frat party gone wild" where "drug use was rampant." Lowry says he was told by Blackwater personnel that some of the men using the steroids he purchased were on the security detail of L. Paul Bremer, the original head of the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA). Lowry also claims that Blackwater's owner, Erik Prince, tried to enlist his help to win contracts for Blackwater with the Iraqi government using an off-shore security company, Greystone, which Prince owns. The purpose, Lowry says, was to conceal Greystone's relationship to Blackwater.

Lowry made his statements in a deposition on September 10 as part of a whistleblower lawsuit brought by two former Blackwater employees. The suit was filed in 2008 by former employees Brad and Melan Davis. They allege that Blackwater tried to bill the US government for a prostitute for its men in Afghanistan and for strippers in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The lawsuit claims that Prince personally benefitted from alleged fraud. The Nation obtained Lowry's deposition from publicly available court filings.

Blackwater, Lowry alleges, paid for the steroids using company funds and the purchases were coordinated by Blackwater's Iraq country manager. "Not only did I purchase the pharmaceuticals," Lowry said in his deposition, "but I was also given money and asked to acquire syringes and other forms or modes of injection as well." Lowry said that Blackwater used him to purchase the drugs and other devices because, unlike Blackwater personnel, he could move freely and discreetly around Baghdad. Lowry says he personally witnessed several Blackwater operatives injecting themselves with steroids.

"One of the suites would be absolutely packed with gentlemen running around with either no clothes on, no shirt on. It was like a frat party gone wild. Drug use was rampant. There was cocaine all on the tables. There were blocks of hash, and you could smell it in the air...walking up to the door."

Lowry says in the deposition that he was a close friend of Jerry Zovko, one of the four Blackwater men killed in the infamous ambush in Fallujah, Iraq in March 2004. Zovko, Lowry says, "provided me tremendous insight into the company and confirmed that the use of steroids and human growth hormone, testosterone, were pretty endemic to them and almost companywide." Lowry said that it was a "wide-ranging problem, and this included individuals that were on [L. Paul] Bremer's personal detail." Bremer was guarded by Blackwater when he ran the CPA from 2003-2004. Lowry says he would purchase the drugs for Blackwater "by the case," adding, "It was as large a quantity as I could get, which was usually a case." He said that the "volume I was being asked to purchase on a daily basis was going up substantially as time went on."

Lowry also claims that he purchased a wide variety of weapons, ammunition and armor for Blackwater on the black market in Baghdad. "I purchased no less than a hundred AK47s for Blackwater personnel to keep them safe," Lowry says. Such purchases, he says he believed, were necessary because Blackwater was not adequately arming its personnel.

Lowry also describes instances of Blackwater personnel firing randomly at Iraqi pedestrians and into buildings for no apparent reason. He details one night where several Blackwater operatives were at his hotel drinking until 5am. When they left, Lowry says, they fired their weapons at random as they drove off. Lowry describes parties that he says some Blackwater personnel would throw at the al Hamra hotel in Baghdad that he says were like "a frat party" with rampant drug use:

Lowry described one party where "there was a pile of cocaine that one Blackwater person had estimated to be over an ounce of coke." Lowry said, "to me, considering the job that these gentlemen are doing…at that time [they] were protecting the US ambassador, Ambassador Bremer, seemed a little bit out—well, beyond out of control. And these parties were a weekly ritual." Lowry alleges that at these parties on several occasions Blackwater personnel would pull out AK47s and go out onto the balcony and "would just spray the building next door, which housed Iraqi civilians."

Lowry also says that he had several meetings with Erik Prince where Prince asked him for assistance in winning contracts with the Iraqi government for an off-shore company Prince owns called Greystone. It is registered in Barbados. Lowry, who says he knew the Iraqi Interior and Defense Ministers "very well," claims Prince wanted to offer the Iraqi government Greystone's training and security services. Lowry says that Prince stated "very clearly" to him that Greystone was "set up to deflect any liability, future liability, that he may have with respect to any weapons sales or any bodily harm or anything else, contract issues with both the US and the Iraqi governments." Lowry claims the Iraqis were aware of Greystone's connection to Blackwater and "detested" the companies.

Lawyers representing the self-exiled Blackwater owner have asked a federal judge in Virginia for a protective order against the tenacious lawyer who took Lowry's deposition. For years, attorney Susan Burke has pursued Prince and Blackwater with a string of civil lawsuits. In August, Burke flew to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, where Prince and his family have relocated, to conduct a seven-hour deposition of Prince in connection to the whistleblower claim she filed on behalf of the former Blackwater employees. After the deposition ended on August 23, according to Burke, Prince threatened to "come after" her.

Soon thereafter, Prince's lawyers declared the entirety of the transcript of Prince's deposition to be confidential material and asserted that it should be sealed. Prince's attorneys filed papers in the case asking the judge to allow Prince and his lawyers to classify any information or documents Prince provides or any information or documents Burke obtains from Prince or Blackwater as "confidential" and therefore barred from public dissemination. Prince's lawyers have also asked that all documents they provide in the case be destroyed or returned within 120 days of the conclusion of the case.

Prince's lawyers have alleged that Burke intends to use the media to embarrass Prince and to litigate her case outside of court and have asked for a "gag order" against her and the other attorneys litigating the case. Burke, in her court filing, points out that the actions of Prince and his companies have generated tremendous publicity and attention. Burke writes:

Defendant Prince and his companies create the media stir by their own actions. Indeed, their misconduct has led to a series of indictments, charging letters from the State Department, and criminal trials. Indeed, Defendant Prince seeks publicity that serves his own ends. He voluntarily participated in a Vanity Fair interview, pressing his view that anyone who criticizes his misconduct must have a "political agenda." Defendant Prince voluntarily cooperated with a book about his life, called Master of War. In the book, he voluntarily revealed, among other things, that he fathered a child out of wedlock and cheated on his wife who was dying of cancer.

On September 22, Burke filed a motion opposing the gag order and what she sees as Prince's attempt to "seal everything." In her motion, Burke reveals that she provided the US State Department with a transcript of the deposition for review of potentially classified material. A State Department contracting official wrote, "As contracting officer I do not require any redactions to the subject transcript of the Erk Prince deposition before it is made publicly available."

In arguing against a gag order, Burke writes that media coverage results in witnesses coming forward who will "be helpful in showing the jury that [her clients'] claims of widespread fraud and misconduct have merit." To support her argument, Burke cited Howard Lowry, whom she says contacted her after seeing media reports on Prince and Blackwater.

Lowry says he contacted Burke "because I believe there is a tremendous lack of moral and business ethics on behalf of the owner of the company and, I believe, companywide." He added, "Because of that, I feel that numerous families of individuals of Blackwater employees that have been killed on the job are not getting the true story."
